A beautiful day to be out and about..vernal ponds loaded and teeming with frogs, some a red winged blackbird, tree swallows..though still not a lot of green. But the light has changed, it’s warm in the sun, and the woods are definitely waking.
You’ve had it so tough back in the Midwest this year. I get regular gloomy reports from my son in Lake Zurich, so I’m aware. So glad things are finally waking up for you! If there are frogs in the vernal ponds, spring is here. Frogs know so much more than meteorologists.
